Out and about in Munich
Munich is a great place for dogs to pick up the scent, as the warm-hearted cosmopolitan city has plenty to offer four-legged friends. Besides stacks of opportunities to enjoy long walks, the Munich beer gardens are lovely spots for dogs and their owners to take a lingering break. Your faithful companion can even accompany you to the zoo. There’s a butcher’s shop on Albanistraße that prepares delicacies exclusively for dogs and cats. It’s worth taking a look at the “Dog-walking map” along and around the river Isar. It shows the best places to take your four-legged friends.

Tips 4 dogs – Stuttgart
When timeis of the essence – there’s a small forest close to our Golden Leaf Hotel Airport & Messe where you can walk your dog in the morning and give it time to ‘do its business’. It’s just a two-minute amble to the centre of the forest. // The green U - Königstraße 1, 70173 Stuttgart (20 minutes travel time) eight kilometres of parkland is a great place to relax and enjoy time with your four-legged friend. // Lake Max Eyth – Lake Max Eyth is an artificial lake directly by the river Neckar, located at the foot of the vineyards between Mühlhausen and Hofen. Just 30 minutes away by car, it’s the perfect excursion for your and your pet. The dogs can even swim in the lake, provided they are kept on the leash.

Are you planning to visit the Golden Leaf Hotel in Stuttgart? Then bring your four-legged friend along! It might be hard to imagine in a big city like Stuttgart, but the Swabian capital has plenty of beautiful routes where you and your dog can recover from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Even in the centre of Stuttgart! An annual dog show is even held in the Convention Centre in Stuttgart-Böblingen.
Underground, trams & co: You need to purchase a children’s ticket to travel with your dog on public transport. One of the tickets can also be assigned to the dog instead of a person if you purchase a group day ticket.
